The Party Page
This page features various pictures that have been taken of myself, roommates and friends throughout the past year at our parties.
The Pajama Party!!! (November 15, 2002)

From left: Steven, Eric, me, Tillberry, and Nick
The climax of any of our parties usually occurs during either a Billy Joel or Bruce Springsteen song. As soon as Piano Man, Captain Jack, Born to Run, or Thunder Road begins to play, we congregate in the living room and sing (shout) along. Typically, UPD will arrive after the song ends because someone else in the building has complained and filed a Noise Violation on us.

Ben Levy, my roommate from sophomore year, is about as close to Cosmo Kramer as a real person can be. For example, he was actually carjacked by a homeless man while being escorted around campus by the University Police. The Sugar Daddy shirt, of course, belongs to me, but I have no idea where the helmet is from or why he is wearing it. He has since adjusted his role at our parties from entertaining drunk to bartender. For that we are extremely grateful. All in all, there really is no way to describe Ben. Oh ya, he may occassionally be referred to as Mo on this website because of the lyrics in The Steve Miller Band's "The Joker".
The Rockstar Party!!! (November 22, 2002)

Sadly, this picture does not do justice to my George Michael costume. I did include the huge cross earring, but it disappeared about halfway through the party and was not found for about a week. I also was unable to completely match George Michael's average level of scruffiness, even though I stopped shaving for several days before the party.

Eric dressed as your generic Rock Star, but went all out with the singing. Now that you have seen this picture, it probably does not need to be explained why women (especially Melissa) fall all over Eric and really want his hot body and chest.

Ari attempted to pull off the Ozzy Osborne look. I'll leave it up to you to judge whether or not he was successful.

That would be Ben.
The first party at which I was legal (January 17, 2003)

I am not quite certain why, but we bought beer helmets last Fall. They finally arrived after much anticipation and we implemented them at this party. I will say this, they are about as much fun as you would expect - which is a lot. Sadly, Nick's came with dysfunctional straws, but he was willing to suffer in order to allow the rest of us to have fun (either that, or he realized he couldn't put Goldschlager in both sides). I bought blue because I ultimately plan to place either a GW or a Twins sticker on the front to support my favorite teams.
(WARNING THE NEXT PICTURE IS FOR ADULT EYES ONLY. IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH ADULT IMAGES, ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 15, OR ARE ONE OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS, PLEASE SKIP THE NEXT PICTURE AND QUICKLY SCROLL DOWN UNTIL YOU SEE THE PICTURE OF DAN.

Did I mention that I was now legal? In my defense, I did not buy the Hustler. Melissa bought it for some reason, but it has been in my room for awhile. Plus, I was just reading the articles. The same cannot be said for Tillberry, who was obviously looking over my shoulder.

Dan was in town working for his internship with Senator Dayton, and he definitely looks like he was enjoying the party. Dan was helping me represent Minnesota in DC for the time he was in town, and we tried our best to show him a good party.

Laurie and I were hanging out at the pimps'n'hoes party. It was great fun for all - until UPD arrived. Sadly there were a couple of unfortunate incidents, but it still did not prevent us from hosting more parties.
Finally, this was created at a party that I did not attend. I am not sure why I still have some of my senior pictures, or how my roommates found them. By the end of the night, my pic was plastered all over the building and is still present on the walls of some people in this building who I do not even know.
